It's what we do.

Our Mission

To increase awareness and support of environmental conservation, scientific research and long-term sustainability through education, recreation and artistry.

a.  Coordinate and stimulate the efforts of individuals and organizations concerned with clean drinking water, forest history, and the preservation and protection of ecological diversity;

b.  Assist in the preservation and promotion of scientific research, of and related to, the natural history of the Catskill Mountain Region;

c.  Educate its supporters and the general public and encourage active participation in support of conservation values;

d.  Support and  promote art and artists whose work deepens our understanding of our relationship with nature; and

e.  Conduct any and all lawful activities which may be useful in accomplishing the foregoing.
As one of the only private forest preserves in the region outside the Blue Line (The Catskill Park)
the Michael Kudish Natural History Preserve. Inc. is dedicated, in perpetuity, to continued support and protection
of the natural and human heritage of the Catskill Mountain Region.
